Africa and Diaspora Integration Commission

strengthening ties between Africa and the diaspora, because our stories never ended, they just crossed oceans.

Who We Are

We’re Your Gateway Back

The Africa and Diaspora Integration Commission exists because we know something powerful: separation doesn’t erase connection. Whether your family left the continent generations ago or you’re just now learning your roots, there’s a place for you here. Africa and diaspora integration commission is established for education, advocacy and bringing together africa and diaspora communities, policymakers, and cultural custodians to reimagine the pathways home for Africa’s global descendants. Our organization explores repatriation not merely as physical relocation, but as a multidimensional reclamation of identity, economic power, cultural heritage, political self-determination in the 21st century and regaining african sovereignty.

We’re not just talking about integration, we’re living it. We’re teaching it. We’re making it real.

For too long, the diaspora has looked at Africa from a distance, and Africa has wondered about its scattered children. We’re here to close that gap. Through education, advocacy, and real action, we’re helping African Americans and our Caribbean

brothers and sisters reconnect with the motherland in ways that honor where we’ve been and empower where we’re going.

This isn’t tourism. This isn’t charity. This is a family reunion.

Coming Home Shouldn’t Feel Foreign

OUR MISSION

We advocate for policies, programs, and pathways that make it easier
for diaspora communities to invest, relocate, and build legacy in Africa.

The Foundation of Our Work

our three pillars

Education

Understanding our history, our rights, and our opportunities across the Atlantic. We break down the barriers, legal, cultural, financial, that make reconnection feel impossible.

Advocacy

Fighting for diaspora-friendly policies in African nations. Navigating bureaucracy and making sure your voice is heard when decisions are made about our collective future..

Integration

This is the work. Helping you navigate lifestyle, business, relocation, cultural adjustment, and community building. Whether you're coming for a season or for good, we walk with you.

Why This Matters

The Truth Is: We’ve been told we don’t belong on either side. That we’re “too American,” “too Caribbean,” “not African enough.” But that’s a lie. You belong wherever your ancestors walked and wherever your children will walk. Integration means claiming all of it.

They Made the Journey. So Can You.

Investing back home was a dream I postponed for years. With their support, I finally launched a small agro-business in Lagos. It’s more than profit, it’s legacy.

When I first considered relocating, I didn’t know where to start. This community guided me through every step, from business registration to understanding local culture. Now, I own a small design firm in Accra and mentor others making the same move

Your Questions. Real Answers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I really move to Africa?

Yes. Absolutely. Different countries have different pathways, some offer special programs for diaspora, some offer citizenship by descent, some make it easy to get residency if you’re investing or working. We help you figure out which country and which path is right for you.

You will. English and French are widely spoken across the continent. Plus, there are thriving diaspora communities in cities like Accra, Lagos, Kigali, and Johannesburg who’ve walked this path before you. You won’t be starting from scratch.

Honestly? Less than you think. Cost of living in many African cities is lower than major U.S. or Caribbean cities. We help you budget realistically for your move and life on the ground.

Like anywhere else, it depends on where you go and how you move. Africa is 54 countries with different realities. We help you understand the real safety picture—not the media version—and connect you with people already living where you want to go.
