The streets are just as they were when initially built in the 8th century, you will explore the cities treasures including the medina, the tannery and In the souk al- Attarine the scent of exotic spices fills the air and close by a hammam, or traditional bathhouse, that steams away your life’s stresses. Ever been to a desert? If you haven’t then you’re in luck. You will encounter the cedar forests south of Azrou contrasting starkly with the surrounding barrenness of the Middle Atlas. Here we might catch a glimpse of Barbary apes. Then we start to slowly descend into the Middle Atlas ranges and wind up in the oasis of the stunning Ziz Valley enroute desert of Merzouga. We will also explore Ouarzazate and nearby Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. This is probably the best-preserved fortified Kasbah in the country. With its dramatic walls of red earth, slit windows and crumbling towers, it is a magnificent example of a traditional stronghold. IMPORTANT DETAILS TO NOTE:

  • First off, this is a trip you definitely don’t want to miss. However this is a very robust itinerary and suitable for a back packer traveler. So we suggest you pack light as possible to be able to move around easier and smarter.
  • The group size will be an average of 2 to 20  people max
  • If for any reason you are unable to make if for this trip, you can find sell your slot to another person of the same sex to replace you. You will cater for any costs that might arise with cancellation like flights. If you cannot find someone to replace, your deposit can be used for a future trip..
  • We do not process visas but can guide you during the application process should you require a visa.
  • We do not provide travel insurance. Please remember to cater for this.
  • We reserve the right to make little adjustments to the itinerary where we see fit for your own safety.
  •  Morocco is home to the famous Sahara desert, hence typically hot. However June promises a warm and stable temperature between 31 degrees at high and 16 low. So please pack warm clothes.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • The reservation deposit of $150 is non-refundable.  
  • You can make a full one-time payment and save $100 or pay in two installments if you want a monthly installment plan. Please send us an email with your request, but we would have received all your payment at least 3.5 months to the trip
  • Cancellation 5 or 6 months to the trip you’re entitled to a 100% refund, you will bear the transfer charges.
  • Cancellation 3 months to the trip. You are entitled to a 50% refund

Cancelation 1 or 2 months to the trip is non-refundable because, at this point, most reservations would have been made, you can only sell your slot to another person, even that should be done at least  a month to the trip, else you can credit your trip and use it another time
